The Interventional Fellows Peripheral Intervention Summit is an essential component to the educational mission of All That Jazz. This fellows program is unique in devoting itself exclusively to non-coronary intervention. Experts provide concise didactics on peripheral arterial disease, however, the emphasis of the program is a case based review of peripheral intervention. We review simple and complex cases of carotid, renal and lower extremity intervention, as well as one session devoted to the percutaneous management of complications of peripheral intervention and vascular access in a format that encourages participation. We choose the most interesting, challenging, or scary cases for review with a panel of experts during the course.

The
Peripheral Intervention Summit is generously supported
by an unrestricted educational grant from Cordis. The
scholarships cover travel and hotel accommodations, as
well as registration for the full meeting. As you know
the All That Jazz is a preeminent meeting on the
diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease,
with a world-class faculty.
The
Interventional Fellows course at All That Jazz is a
rich educational opportunity. Although the full day
course matches the usual single day
“courses”, the opportunity for case review
throughout the meeting and close interaction with our
world-class faculty during the week makes this fellows
course unique. We encourage all interventional fellows
to meet us in New Orleans.
Please use the form below to submit you case for review during the Peripheral Intervention Summit. The case presentation should be a maximum of six slides. The case presentation should include one slide on the patient's presenting symptoms and the indication for the intervention. Images from the diagnostic test to demonstrate the lesion and still frame images from key points of the intervention (four max). The final slide should list three key teaching points to the case, which may be the indications for procedure, relevant facts about the underlying pathology or the techniques employed during the case.
